Christingle Services Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve' Christ Church holds 2 Christingle services, this is to accommodate the number of families who wish to attend.

This year many extra seats were put out at the 3.30 service as so many people were there.

Nearly 400 Christingles were made the previous day by a team of about a dozen Volunteers, and after the 2 services there were only a few left over. The Church Worship group headed up the music for the services with renditions of popular Christmas music such as "Frosty the Snowman" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" before the service started and then led the worship music during the services including "Away in a Manger". Tim our vicar and Mike our assistant Vicar led both the services with help from many of the children who dressed up to take on the roles of the main characters  of the Christmas story.
